Lotte Kopecky: "This was the perfect day. The situation in the race was favourable for us. We didn't have to jump from wheel to wheel right away. Because there was only one rider in front, it was easier to control. This is a nice win, especially because I got an excellent lead-out from my team. Then when I see their joy behind the finish, that's really a super feeling. Whether the pressure is off now? The team doesn't put any pressure on me, because they know that I really want it myself and try to do as well as possible. I feel their confidence. Then I am happy that I can give them something back by finishing it off as well."

"I am here to prepare for the Olympics. This stage win is a boost. I am now three seconds off leader Elisa Longo-Borghini, which is a nice position. I am realistic that the next three days will be very tough. I don't feel any pressure towards the general classification. I am trying to recover as well as I can. I've never ridden up Blockhaus before, but if you look at the profile, you can see it's a tricky climb. I'll see how far I get. I have nothing to lose," Kopecky concluded.
