Mischa Bredewold impressively won her very first time trial of her career. Not just any chrono, but a 31.5 km time trial. She was 11 seconds faster than Brodie Chapman. In the standings, Bredewold now trails leader Ruth Edwards by 2'6". "It's special to win an elite time trial for the first time," Bredewold said.

Mischa Bredewold: "I have been working on this discipline for years. This win is a reward for the efforts I made together with my trainer and team to get better. A time trial in the elite is completely different than in the juniors. So I'm super happy to take my first time trial victory here in the Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour."

"The past four days it just didn't work out each time. We were close every time. Yesterday I made a stupid mistake in the sprint, which was a shame. But now it was a win in the time trial."

Good for the 47th win for Team SD Worx-Protime this season. Tomorrow awaits the final stage of the Lotto Thüringen Ladies Tour. "In the first stage we lost a lot of time," Bredewold continued. "I'm now second in the general classification. It will be hard to get that time back, but we will make a plan for tomorrow."
