With Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Demi Vollering completed a historic Ardennes tripple. She was only the first since Anna van der Breggen to manage to win the three Ardennes classics in the same week. Vollering received help from a rock-solid Marlen Reusser, who got to join the podium in third.
